I am originally from Nova Scotia and I have lived in the capital region of British Columbia since 2003. I graduated from Dalhousie University in 2001 majoring in political science, and I obtained my law degree from the University of Victoria in 2005.
Since being called to the bar in 2007 I have worked primarily as a trial lawyer in BC Supreme and Provincial Court, mostly in Victoria and the Western Communities. I have proudly represented clients from all walks of life throughout my career. I am a sole practitioner so when you retain me you can be guaranteed that it will be me representing you, not an associate lawyer. Along with my private practice I have continued to assist clients through legal aid, and I also regularly assist clients through the Legal Aid BC duty counsel program.
I am an avid outdoorsman, and I remain a student of politics and history. I am a firm believer in the importance of individual liberty and civil rights.
